My name is Mrs. Evangeline Marie Markley and I will be your child's fourth-grade teacher this academic year. This will be my 26th year teaching for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and my thirteenth year teaching 4th grade at Saint Thomas More School. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Human Development from Azusa Pacific University and a Master's in Education from the University of Phoenix. During the fourth grade your child will be learning many new things. They will learn about California's history including the Indians, Gold Rush and the Missions. In math, they will learn about division, fractions, and continue advancing their math skills in all areas. They will read and respond to novels and short stories. In science, they will learn about environments, magnets, and more. I am grateful to the good God and I look forward to an exciting journey that will challenge our students academically, socially, and spiritually. The goal in my classroom is to reach every type of learner and to create a positive atmosphere, so that each child can do his or her very best.
